EAEC countries will coordinate action to protect intellectual property rights
The governments of Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) have signed an Agreement on the coordination of action to protect intellectual property rights.
On the authority of the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan, on Tuesday during a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian in Grodno the document was signed.
As it reported, the agreement provides for coordination of activities for the prevention, detection, suppression and investigation of violations of the rights of intellectual property, the harmonization and improvement of legislation of Member States in the field of protection of intellectual property rights, exchange of information on intellectual property rights protection, the report indicates.
The agreement will facilitate coordination of law enforcement agencies of the Member States EAEC in combating violations of intellectual property.
